Location: Bridgnorth
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year (DOE)

Role Overview:
The Technical Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional after-sales support and customer service. The successful candidate will utilize their technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance on product usage, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves liaising closely with customers, engineers, and internal teams to resolve inquiries promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties:
– Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
– Troubleshoot issues related to measurement equipment and software, escalating complex problems to the engineering team when necessary.
– Offer guidance on product operation, troubleshooting techniques, and software functionalities.
– Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and provide timely solutions to customers.
– Document customer inquiries, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference.
– Assist in the development of technical support documentation, including manuals and FAQs.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Degree-level qualification in engineering or relevant technical field preferred, or equivalent experience in a technical support role.
– Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles.
– Familiarity with 3D measurement equipment and software is advantageous but no required.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to diverse customer inquiries.
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
– Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
