The School of Health and Social Care is looking to recruit a Strategic Lead for Partnerships and Projects to provide strategic leadership for the development of strategic partnerships and projects.

The post holder will be a registered healthcare professional with experience of working strategically with health and care stakeholders to manage complex projects and relationships. They will have a comprehensive understanding of Health Care Professions Council, Social Work England, and the Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements for prequalifying academic programmes and requirements of practice partners to support practice learning and practice simulation. The post holder will be responsible for the placement unit and practice simulation provision, working across the school with the Head of School, Academic Subject Leads, Academic Course Leads and practice partners to support practice learning.

There will be an expectation of significant contribution to the School leadership, working closely with the Head of School to ensure our staff are fully supported and challenged to meet the demands of the next phase of the Schools portfolio development. It is the expectation that the post holder will be responsible for the line management the placement and practice simulation teams, and provide senior leadership to support the School business and deputise for the Head of School where required.
