Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your special processes expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Head of Technical Services in Crewe and work alongside dedicated and passionate teammates.
You’ll coordinate and manage the industrial control of Special Processes (SP) within current manufacturing operations and product launch. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to manage industrial risk through Process FMEA and associated improvement action plans.
We’ll look to you for:
• To define, setup and carry out manufacturing audits in line with the special process requirements
• To ensure our compliance is maintained for the qualification of all product/process Special Process requirements
• Support sourcing teams in the suppliers’ qualification and in quality follow up for suppliers concerned by Special Processes
• To manage the various quality control process dedicated to Special Processes within manufacturing operations
• Ensure that the deployment and validation of new processes is in line with product / project planning regarding special processes
• Review, amend and Issue relevant documents within the Quality System relevant to special processes
• Support Transfer of Technology relating to Special Process documentation, process and training

• Strong experience in a similar role involving the maintenance and overhaul of safety critical systems/equipment.
• Advanced/business fluent level of English
Desirable
• Degree or Higher Certificate in engineering/technical discipline
• Knowledge of such processes, Paint Systems, Joint Torquing, Shrink Fitting, Gluing and Bonding would be an advantage
• Knowledge of a maintenance management system BOM management, SAP
