Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Severn Trent team based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

 

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire with travel to sites in the Severn Trent patch in the north midlands

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know

 

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager you’ll be working within the Severn Trent CSO programme team. The Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO) programme is an important task which focuses on the upgrading of assets to deal with the increased demand of water systems due to storm water and the increased use of treatment works due to population growth and the subsequent overflow. As a Senior PM you’ll manage schemes between £5-£15m in value with dedicated PM’s reporting to, ensuring they are providing a clean, safe, and effective working environment for our clients and colleagues.

Your day to day will include:

  • Provide active positive leadership of Health & Safety on site and with client facing meetings. Implement site safety culture and behaviours to achieve Kiers and clients’ requirements.
  • Oversee the management of site-based delivery teams and relevant areas of the supply chain to drive timely completion of projects, safely and within budget.
  • Coach and mitigate underperformance of site team members to reduce the possibility of conflict and optimise performance and ensure the right culture in team development.
  • Ensure all initiatives are supported and implemented with minimal disruption by understanding preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions.
  • Work closely with the Framework manager and program planners to proactively manage the framework performance.

 

What are we looking for?


This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if you have:

  • Degree/HND or equivalent you‘ll hold proven experience working within main contractor civil engineering environment.
  • You’ll hold EUSR Water Hygiene, CSCS card and SSSTS.
  • Experience within a similar role within the Water Industry.
  • Hold a Full Driving Licence.
