Job Description

About the Role

  • Support the implementation of the UK sales and business development plans helping to identify major opportunities for Global Clients
  • Assist in the development of prospect plans, ensuring they are appropriately implemented and managed
  • Contribute towards client and prospect strategy sessions and help develop and maintain strong relationships with key prospects as part of the bid team
  • Provide support to the UK Business Development team and bid sponsors in developing specific value propositions for sectors or market segments, engaging with the wider Aon business units and identifying each Client’s or Prospects risks and appropriate risk solutions
  • Develop understanding of Client/prospect’s business including financial performance, objectives, market perception, products and services, management structure, and key personnel
  • Working with the bid sponsor to ensure team roles and responsibilities are clearly and appropriately allocated and potential delays or blockages are flagged
  • Provide challenge to each project and ensure our differentiators are captured and capable of being demonstrated
  • Drafting, production and final publication of tender reports and presentations which match the brief, prospect plan and accurately reflect key messages, and differentiators
  • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company
