You’ll maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring that project strategies are followed and that contract activities are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting business and technical requirements.
You’ll monitor progress, track milestones, deadlines, and budgets, and provide regular reports to key stakeholders. You will address and resolve issues within the contract or package, manage risks, update the programme budget, and escalate issues to the Senior Project Manager as needed.
You’ll ensure that lessons learned, and knowledge capture are part of everyday practice and establish strong working relationships with all project team members.
Who you are
As a Project Manager at EDF, you’ll need a Project Management qualification like APM PMQ. You should have experience in managing engineering and construction projects, especially in regulated environments like Nuclear Energy.
You’ll handle major project elements from start to finish, including engineering design, contract management, and execution. Experience with multi-discipline EPCM projects, complex contract procurement, and controlling costs and schedules is crucial.
Your role will involve managing commercial claims, negotiating with stakeholders, and applying knowledge of CDM Regulations and nuclear quality assurance. Experience with NEC and FIDIC arrangements and knowledge of French are beneficial.
If this sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you!
