Job Summary

 

Moog Aircraft Group is recruiting for a Product Engineer to join the team in Wolverhampton to provide engineering support to the production assembly and test areas of our military aerospace business.

 

This is a crucial role as it provides an essential link between our customers’ needs and delivery of our business goals. Our organisation is focused on cutting-edge technology, high quality performance and exceeding expectation which means you must be too.

 

With responsibility for the transfer and support of development programmes to production, you will support Engineering and technical issues through a proactive, solution focused attitude.

 

This includes advising on factors affecting quality, schedule and cost. You’ll seek improvement opportunities for Moog’s product whether this connected with single component issues or through patterns of investigation. Your technical expertise and the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships will be fundamental.

 

The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the operation and performance of hydraulic flight control systems including testing and data analysis. Ideally this role would be suited to someone with a background in Systems Engineering, Development Engineering or Qualification Testing’.

 

Key Expertise

 

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline and/or relevant proven experience
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed working knowledge of hydraulic actuation products, both top level and subassemblies
  • Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues.
  • General knowledge in areas of Root Cause / Corrective Action, LEAN, Project Planning, Product line transfer and Data Acquisition and Analysis is essential
