The Big Picture
Our client based in the West Midlands, has a history of working with and managing large national and international multi-site employee development programmes nationally.
They are looking to recruit a Part-time financial Controller for their Head Office Nr Stourbridge. A competitive salary of £28-30K is being offered to the right candidate
part time to be negotiated, 24 hours per week, either over 3 full days or 5 part time days to suit.
·Main Job Role includes :-
·Monthly closing for all two units including preparation of monthly Management accounts that will include comparison to forecast and previous actuals to ensure consistency and any anomalies explained plus resolution of any outstanding issues.
·Monthly Balance sheet review in accordance with set requirements i.e. All balance sheet accounts with required actions taken to correct anomalies
·Control of AP/AR functions in accordance with set procedures
·Ensure that all external reporting requirements are complied with including VAT/PAYE/Payroll deductions/National statistics etc
·Control of the weekly payroll function
·Statutory accounts Preparation and liaising with external auditors /Accountants
·Assistance in compliance with Legislation
·Companies House
·Assistance in Financial forecasting including annual budget
·Preparation of the Four month rolling cash flow forecasting including Working Capital control /reporting and Management
·Responsibility for full reconciliation of system reports against relevant external reports
·Introduction of Profit and Loss reporting by client
·Weekly reporting of key business
