Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Wolverhampton

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Operations Planner to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering a cost-effective, customer-focused repairs and maintenance service for our customers’ homes and neighbourhoods.

In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and managing engineers’ diaries, ensuring they complete the maximum number of jobs possible each day. You will aim to help our engineers fix issues on the first visit, where possible, to provide a seamless and efficient service to our customers. Keeping customers informed will also be key, so you’ll need to ensure they always know what’s happening with their repairs and when they can expect work to be completed.

You will have experience working in a similar planning role, with a strong understanding of the systems and tools required to manage complex schedules and prioritise tasks effectively. Your ability to balance the needs of the business with the expectations of customers and engineers will be critical to your success. You’ll also need excellent communication skills, as you will regularly liaise with engineers, customers, and various internal stakeholders to ensure services are delivered smoothly and on time.
