Job Description

Position: Operations Clerk   
Contract Type: Permanent– 25 hours per week  
Location: Coventry
Shift: Days

About the role: 

Ensure detailed and correct documentation to support the running of drivers and the depot, including completing pre-briefs and debriefs, challenging discrepancies and general administrative duties. 

 

 Key Role Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitating inbound and outbound deliveries  
  • Driver brief and debrief with scanners  
  • Handling driver and customer queries  
  •  Handling and sorting of parcels  
  • Data inputting and administrative duties  
  • Taking and managing customer calls  

 

The ideal candidate will have:  

  • Excellent multi-tasking skills, work well under pressure 
  • 1-2 years’ experience working within the transportation or logistics industry is   beneficial 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
