Job Description

What you’ll do:

– Responsible for monitoring and reporting competitor media developments and trends in our sectors and markets; producing regular reports and insights for senior leadership
– Combine research, data and analytical skills to develop SOV insights, forecasts, scenarios and recommendations where competitor action presents risk or opportunity for Sky
– Work closely with your colleagues across Marketing, Commercial, Consumer Strategy and external media agencies to embed insights into the decision-making process, ensuring recommendations are contextualised against internal and external factors
– Review and interpret data efficiently; identify potential strengths and weaknesses of datasets and/or sources
– Explore creative approaches to enhance datasets and use it to derive further insight e.g. enhancing competitor media reporting to reflect paid and owned media
– Work on ad-hoc strategic projects e.g. conducting analysis to link creative testing scores (System 1) with campaign performance
– Support and develop our media measurement framework by incorporating owned media into our tools
