Job Description

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter ready for your next adventure? Cavendish Nuclear are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. The Role

  • Play a pivotal role in building the UK’s clean energy future.
  • Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
  • Work from mechanical engineering drawings, general arrangement drawings, and method statements to achieve the objectives.
  • Work with assembly and installation drawings.
  • Perform hand and machine shaping of materials and components.
  • Assemble and install mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Test mechanical equipment and pipework, employing fault-finding techniques and adjusting mechanical plant as needed.

 

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Proven experience in the installation, assembly and precision lining and levelling of mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical jointing techniques.
  • Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
  • Experience working on major construction projects.
  • NVQ 3 / Ace Card in Mechanical Fitting / Others considered.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
