About the role

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT Strategic Plans (Strategic Portfolio Reviews and Quarterly Rolling Forecast) and Regulatory Plans. Develop and analyse key metrics and benchmark data to inform management decision making. A key role interacting with the UK & US IT portfolios on topics such as progress, prioritisation, and financial performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and contribute to the creation and maintenance of strategic plans and quarterly rolling forecast for IT in the UK & US
  • Manage the continuous review of the whole UK 5-year IT investment portfolio:
    • Provide insights and M.I. on forecasts to support portfolio decision making
    • Support regulatory reporting
    • Input into prioritisation processes
    • Management of investment change control processes
  • Improve legacy processes
  • Support strategic portfolio reviews working with senior stakeholders to provide the latest view of portfolio progress, risks, and financial performance
  • Leading SME in the implementation of the IT Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management Tool and shaping the requirements and functionality

Successful candidates will have

  • Knowledge of the Regulatory Submissions and/or rate case setting processes
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Prioritisation in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of change and delivery methodologies (including PRINCE2 and Scrum / SAFe)
  • Experience working with business analytics tools such as Power BI, designing data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights, creating dashboards and interactive visual reports
  • Good written communication skills
