Are you looking for the next challenge in your Health and Safety career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to support Avonmouth Reinforcement Facility and Crown House Manufacturing (ChtM) in Oldbury . Avonmouth is a specialist rebar facility created to support our projects and reduce time and improve quality. CHtM supplies bespoke MEP solutions for clients both nationally and internationally.
At Laing O’Rourke we are looking for a positive minded Health & Safety Advisor who will embrace changes and will enthusiastically engage and listen to promote open communications. A H&S Advisor who can build trust and respect of operational teams and peers as well as understanding their motivation, beliefs, and behaviours. As Health and Safety Advisor you will provide local advice and support to assist managers and staff to fulfil their health and safety responsibilities to the high standards demanded by the business. Carry out relevant H&S assurance activities, providing confidence to the business that operational effectiveness of all relevant processes is being delivered.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Qualification at level 4 (min)
- Technical knowledge in Occupational Health Risk Management and Wellbeing
- Technical knowledge in Safety Risk Management
- Coaching / Training competence
- Assurance / Audit / Investigation competence
- Member of relevant professional body
