Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the DWS Chief Ethics Officer and Senior Ethics Officers, as well as senior business leaders to foster and embed integrity and ethical values into our culture at a regional and global business level
  • Contributing to the creation of a vision for ethics and culture, and driving the implementation through existing best practices and new thought leadership, to ensure a tangible ethics and culture framework
  • Providing support to progress the review into specific escalations linked to ethics and culture including accusations, complaints and conflicts of interest and facilitate resolution/remediation thereof
  • Helping to support strategic and transformational initiatives (including platform technologies) aligned to ethics and culture to drive sustainable business growth
  • Working with team members from the Ethics Office to enhance relationships with regional and global business leaders and staff to navigate complex topics in relation to the asset management industry and broader financial services sector
  • Assisting in the management of regional internal/external business relationships to identify and adapt emerging technology and business processes to further DWS’s business strategies


Your Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant experience in roles within financial services
  • Experience in a role which has provided exposure to regional trends associated to risk and regulatory oversight, as well as providing exposure to regulatory inquiries
  • Understanding of the Fiduciary duty of care and diligence, with a clear understanding of senior management liability
  • Demonstrable experience of improving culture, values, and behavioral requirements to support an effective control environment
  • Experience in preparing materials for senior management, global business forums and governance committees (ExBo & OpCo)
  • Supporting the relationship management interface with business and infrastructure stakeholders to maintain constructive and balanced relationships
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of global strategic initiatives/projects, with an understanding of interdependencies to monitor and adjust as needed in response to changes in business risks, operations, programs, systems and controls
