Job Description


As Paid Search Executive you will be responsible for implementing Gymshark’s Paid Search activity across all Dutch speaking regions. You will be required to hit traffic, revenue and ROI targets within the budget assigned. You will ensure efficiency of spend, top quality work and Paid Search best practice whilst setting a benchmark for Paid Search at Gymshark. Frequent analysis of performance data is required to inform optimisation on the accounts and to inform the senior team on how Paid Search, Dutch speaking regions specifically, are contributing to the overall business growth.

  • Accountable for delivering traffic, revenue and ROI targets in relation to Paid Search activities.
  • Manage the expansion of PPC activities across relevant channels (Search, Shopping, RLSA & Display) to ensure optimal visibility across all product categories, where profitable.
  • Understand the relationship of Paid Search optimisation and testing across all channels.
  • Follow performance-based bidding strategies, leverage available bid adjustments and optimise on a regular basis to ensure maximum visibility across Paid Search.
  • Ensure that all reporting and analysis is focussed on creating actionable insights for both the Paid Search team, wider Media team and Senior Management.
  • Use reports and analysis to make adjustments to drive ROI and adhere to targets.
  • Support the rest of the Paid Search team on projects as and when required, and be willing to juggle multiple priorities whilst hitting deadlines.
  • Research industry trends and champion search marketing across the business.
  • Liaise heavily with key search engines and other partners to ensure Gymshark is at the forefront of innovation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to support shared objectives and drive trade in the relevant categories.
  • Execute all paid search activity in line with Dutch speaking target customer regions, key customer personas as well as brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Work with the wider Search and Media teams to ensure the Paid Search strategy and approach is aligned.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and news to ensure Paid Search continues to grow and internal PR increases.
  • Ensure collaboration across Media campaign stakeholders to ensure campaigns are being executed with clear objectives, visibility into other Media tactics and debrief post campaign.
  • Fluent (written and verbal), both in Dutch and English.
  •  Paid Search experience in-house or within an agency.
  •  Experience using Google Analytics, Google Data Studio & Ads Editor.
  •  Experience optimising Dutch spoken Paid Search activity, including bid management, copywriting and competitor benchmarking.
  •  Confident in presenting findings to the team.
  •  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of audiences, both in Dutch and English.
  •  Confident in querying data and problem solving.
  •  Ability to analyse data and report on findings.
  •  Competent with Excel.
  • A passion for all things digital and a desire to test new tactics and keep up to date with industry changes both here and overseas.
