We’re looking for a Digital Construction Coordinator to join our Build Team based in the Southern Region.
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As a Digital Construction Coordinator, you’ll be working within the Digital Team, focusing on enabling the use of appropriate tools and technologies to support project delivery from inception to in use
Your day to day will include:
- Provide ongoing user support and training for all project stakeholders
- Ensure that the BIM Execution Plan is being observed and delivered against
- Liaise with the information management team to ensure the use of the common data environment (CDE) is set-up, adhering to ISO 19650
- Contribute content towards the production of monthly reports to identify and measure digital implementation and maturity within relevant projects
- Support raising awareness and the profile of digital implementation within project functional departments including estimating, design management, building services, commercial, planning, operational and SHEQ assisting our cultural and behavioural change to a digital first mentality
What are we looking for?
This role of Digital Construction Coordinator is great for you if:
- Has sound understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents
- Aware of openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability
- Understanding and has experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models
- Good skills in standard Microsoft Office 365
