The Opportunity
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK, that when operational will provide low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
We are looking for a Data Control Lead to join our HPC Technical Directorate. The Technical Directorate is responsible for managing the design of the entire plant of Hinkley Point C, ensuring it’s done safely and meets quality, schedule, and cost targets.
SWITCH PLM is a system that helps digitise and integrate key processes related to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for the HPC project. Within this setup, the Configuration Management and Control team oversees the entire configuration management process, handles certain change procedures, and is in charge of gathering engineering data from the design team.
As the Data Control Lead, you will be part of the team that focuses on methods, tools, and data within this configuration management group.

You will supervise a small team of Data Stewards to maintain data quality and integrity within the HPC Digital tools.
You will interface with the Responsible Designer to ensure data is correctly provided as per the data transfer protocol, and work with SWITCH to confirm that data is processed and uploaded properly.
