Customer Advisor

Salary: 35hrs – £23,900/40hrs – £27,314

 

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Advisor to be a part of our amazing team! if you have a passion for customer service and the desire to become a true systems expert, this could be the administrative role is for you!

 

Our friendly team consists of 16 people who are all responsible for a range of demands, from effectively completing mid-term changes, running training sessions on our online portal, to onboarding policies.

 

Our standard full-time contracts are for 35 hours per week (with options for part time working – minimum 21hours per week).  However, we want you to have the flexibility to increase your working hours if it suits you, so we also offer the option for enhanced 40-hour contract which has an enhanced salary.

 

Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in Sheffield.

 

A bit about the job:

As the Customer Advisor, you will ensure members on a corporate company healthcare scheme will have a positive experience, whilst becoming a subject matter expert. You will provide an effective, pro-active service to all customers, ensuring all policy details are updated and managed accurately within agreed service standards and agreements. Along with taking ownership for your work, whilst problem solving to investigate and resolve often complex queries.

 

You will complete demands received from internal and external customers through a variety of channels, so you must be confident to communicate with relevant stakeholders across business areas.

 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong knowledge in Excel essential, as you will be using v-looks ups when manipulating data files received
  • A strong desire to learn, and help problem solve in a fast-paced service environment
  • A true passion for doing the right thing for our customers
  • Excellent relationship management skills including internal and external stakeholder management
  • Be open minded to change and look for opportunities to streamline processes, whilst supporting your colleagues to do the same

  • Starting salary between £23,900 and £27,314 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
