Role: Content Designer

Location: Newcastle


Please Note: Due to the nature of client work you will be undertaking, you will need to be willing to go through a Security Clearance process as part of this role, which requires 5+ years UK address history at the point of application.


Hybrid Working: his role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.

As a Team:

You will work with a team of creative and passionate UX Design specialists who are responsible for creating user-centred designs for digital products and services.

This is a great opportunity to work across multiple different clients in a range of industries. As a member of our close-knit UX and Design team, you will champion the value of User-Centred Design as part of delivery best practice across all digital products and services.


In our team you will learn how to:

  • Create high quality content which is clear, easy to understand, and accessible
  • Deliver the information your users need, in the place they need it
  • Use data and research findings to inform your content decisions
  • Make sure your content is accurate by working closely with Subject Matter Experts
  • Collaborate with other teams and specialisms, like UX Designers, User Researchers, Developers, Product, Delivery
  • Report on and present your work, both internally and to client partners
  • Work closely with our UX & Design Team to share knowledge, learn new skills, and design transformational services
  • Continuously improve content based on user feedback, analytics, and industry best practices to improve usability, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Ensure that content follows all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including accessibility standards, privacy laws, and industry regulations.


The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

  • Relevant experience as a Content Designer or similar field
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with brand tone of voice guidelines, design patterns and style guides
  • You have worked as part of an Agile Scrum team
  • You can address the needs of key stakeholders whilst creating a user-centric design
  • Experience using Markdown or HTML
