About the role

As part of our in-house training delivery team this role is to assist with the development, training, and assessment of colleagues in multi skilled operations and other training modules as required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Conduct training in confined space, working at heights, first aid, and any other site requirements.
  • Ensure that feedback for the training is gained for all courses run and that this reaches an overall satisfaction score of 90% or above.
  • Design and deliver compliant courses that engage our delegates and promote the Learning and Development Team brand
  • Deliver a minimum of 12 days classroom learning per calendar month (pro rata average over the year)
  • As at SME (subject Matter expert) within the training delivery team, effectively manage your stakeholders to build collaborative working relationships.
  • Facilitating BBV employees to become competent and certified in a variety of construction Skills such as Working at height, Confined Space, First Aid and more.
  • Ensure training and compliance of documents are kept accurately and accessible via M site.
  • Ensuring training is compliant with HSE Regulations on inspections and certification of working at height and confined space.
  • Mapping out training plans and designing and developing training programs for Colleagues.
  • Assist with incident investigations as and when required.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager within own competence.

Who we’re looking for

  • Certificate in Workplace Training and Assessment PTLLS, CTLLS, Cert Ed, First Aid, D32/A1 Assessor or equivalent.
  • Accredited Trainer & Assessor against a recognized awarding bodies such as PASMA, CPCS, NPORS, IPAF, LANTRA, RTITB, CITB, ITSAR, Highfields
  • Computer literate, with a good of Microsoft Office365 skills
  • Demonstrate evidence of having delivered training of this type.
  • Demonstrable Knowledge of contemporary Training Practice and compliance
  • Experience working in large multicultural and diverse organisations/environments
  • Ability to communicate and engage others effectively across all levels
  • High quality written and presentation skills.
