This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Administration apprentice to work within a busy operations office, assisting with various tasks which could lead to a permanent position upon completion.
Weekly wage
£192.31
Working week
Monday – Thursday, 09:00 – 17:30 and Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.
Total hours per week: 37.00
You will work within a busy office environment and we are looking to offer you experience in a number of roles to help you understand how the company works and to see which department best suits your skillset, long term. Initially you will work in the Operations department where the job role will include:
Analysis of various operations including:
Daily machines
Production versus Despatch
Blank production
Monthly presentations
Monthly overall equipment efficacy
Supporting workshop groups – PWG, SWWG
Figures and shift performance
Supporting 6S and Kaizen activities
Plus, any other administration duties

Confident IT skills are essential – Microsoft Office packages Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good verbal and written communications
Good numeracy skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail
Able to produce accurate work

Desired qualifications
GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English Language and ICT.
Future prospects
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship there may be an opportunity for a full-time position.
Things to consider
Please ensure you are able to travel to both the company site and the college site (In-Comm Training Services, Aldridge, WS9 8UG) as you will be required to attend college one day per month as part of this apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship will be delivered over 15-months, resulting in:
Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
Functional skills in English, maths and ICT (if applicable)
Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
Various topics covering business administration areas are selected as to the learner requirements, qualification unit matching requirements and the employer needs. You will also be required to attend In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, one day per month as part of your ‘off-the-job’ training – which will include the following:

Using internet and email – internet security
Greeting / welcoming visitors – good housekeeping and personal professional image
Telephone Techniques
Customer Service
Communication Skills – Speaking and Listening
Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation

Basic Finances 1 day – types of documents i.e. purchase ordering / delivery notes / invoices
