Broker Development Manager
Salary £45,000 – £55,000
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Broker Development Manager to join our team. This is a great job for someone who has experience in broker relationship management or someone with General Insurance experience looking to develop into the sales/broker world, dealing with one of the most product rich commercial lines insurers in the market!
Please note that this role requires you to be based in either Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire and will include travel to broker sites.
A bit about the job:
Within this role you will be working with a defined group of brokers; the key to your success will be your ability to quickly build effective relationships with these brokers, along with developing a strong internal network by identifying new opportunities and utilise the full range of Aviva solutions throughout your broker panel to secure sustainable and profitable growth. You will also be regularly monitoring the P&L performance for your panel of brokers and put remedial plans in place where required across all business lines and individual brokers.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience of working within General Insurance would be beneficial
- Experience, and ideally existing relationships, with Brokers in the North of England
- Effective long term pipeline management
- Competent data analysis and measurement of performance using multiple MI suites to provide insight to inform internal business partners to make strategic/tactical decisions
- Internal and External Relationship management skills

- Starting salary between £45,000 and £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
