Role Overview:
The Billing Manager is responsible for accurate and timely management of clients’ finances, billing and job reconciliation in UK. The role serves as a finance liaison between Agency and Clients and is a key member of the Global Agency Finance Team at Accenture. The Billing Manager supports the Global Commercial Lead at Accenture to find solutions to business challenges, drive change and deliver efficiencies.



  • Ensure compliance with client agreements, and secure appropriate approvals to invoice clients.
  • Partner with Account Management and Operations teams to plan and manage client’s production budgets, provide timely and accurate job status reports, and time/ job reconciliations.
  • Liaison with Accenture Commercial Finance and Procurement teams for accounting, invoicing of productions jobs, and for vendor POs and rush payments.
  • Oversight for jobs in progress and ensure jobs are activated, reconciled and closed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Agency Teams log time to appropriate jobs/ retainer in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support office leads with demand-capacity planning for retainer teams.
  • Support Operations teams for engaging freelancers/ sub-contractors.
  • Train to become the Superuser for the financial systems at Accenture for relevant functions.
  • Support month-end close process – provide reports and analysis in a timely manner.
  • Work with Agency teams to ensure that Accenture policies and procedures are understood and adhered.
  • Lead for client audits, questions from Client Procurement team and Accenture auditors – ensure accuracy for audit trail.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures of clients and of Accenture.
  • Foster and nurture a culture of commercial awareness with the Agency.
  • Support Global Commercial Lead to manage client finances and related analysis/ reconciliations.
  • Prepare/ support ad-hoc management reports.


Person Specification


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar.
  • Extensive experience in advertising and related industry.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
