Job Description

Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Birmingham (hybrid)
Career Level: CL10
What we do?

As Accenture, we deliver meaningful customer experiences, which is the new battleground for brands. Marketers today are expected to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the right time, with every interaction – acknowledging the individual. With accelerating complexity, delivering a cohesive brand experience remains elusive. Our Clients, especially CMO’s, are looking for expert global partners who can create, innovate, activate and scale marketing operations programs that deliver increased impact, powerful customer experiences and marketing-led growth.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a strong and confident Account Manager, preferably with some Above The Line communications background, to become part of the Overseas Brand Communications Team.

Reporting to the Overseas Brand Lead and SAM, our AE will take a key role supporting the rollout of central campaigns across all JLR overseas markets and represent the overseas markets in global forums. Working closely with our Creative and Production teams, the AM will be responsible for helping to manage the day-to-day alongside our SAM. Key responsibilities will be to support the smooth running of multiple market projects and communications, pro-actively handling client feedback alongside the SAM, ensuring the projects move forward according to schedule and budget, while keeping the creative integrity intact throughout the process.

The overseas region is comprised of :

  • Brazil – LACRO  (Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office)
  • Mexico – SSA (Sub Saharan Africa)
  • South Africa – MENA (Middle east & North Africa)

Client Management

  • Support the Brand lead and SAM and be able to work effectively and efficiently with both clients and other JLR agencies.
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.

Creative Development

  • Support our SAM to act as a Brand Guardian, immersing yourself in all JLR advertising and be able to advise on industry trends and developments across multiple channels and markets (overseas).
  • Clearly communicate and support the Creative Team with the Client’s brief, ensuring the Client’s voice is not lost, but the creative boundaries are still pushed.
  • Demonstrate a full understanding of the creative process – helping to manage expectations and time pressures, including managing creative resourcing.
  • Establish an excellent “eye” for creative output, recognising strong creative work and when work could be improved.
  • Support the Brand lead in the review of creative work. Be able to express objective opinions which have been carefully thought through. Be prepared to debate & defend these both internally and with Clients in a way that is constructive not confrontational.

Operational

  • Supporting the SAM to manage and coordinating asset delivery to the markets.
  • Help to write notes, ensuring the client-facing Contact Reports are produced from all client meetings.
  • Market coordination – maintaining clear and constant communication with JLR Accenture Song teams on global positioning and processes.
